Christmas 2008

I love Christmas time as we celebrate the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ.  I am grateful for his mortal ministry and glorious resurrection and proclaim that his restored gospel is on the earth today.  As I gather my husband, children, and grandchildren around me, I count my blessings and feel fortunate to live in such a time when I can hear the gospel of Jesus Christ in its fulness.

Christmas day was windy, snowy, and wet. We had winds at about 77 mph. Luckily we didn't have too much damage except the side gate lost a few panels so now we have to tie Koko up before we let her outside in the backyard until it's fixed. It was nice having Laura, Jereme, & kids and David and Megan & the kids. Heather joined us too and her friend Cody. We ate dinner about 5 p.m. and opened presents after.

Peyton is doing great! He is such a joy and always happy. Carson is vocalizing a lot now and it's fun to hear him. Elaina is so sophisticated and sassy. Little Tate is growing and likes to wiggle when you hold him. We missed Liz, Mike, and Eli this Christmas, but hope to see them soon. Liz was able to hook up to the web cam and we were able to see little Eli a few days after Christmas. He is growing fast!

Brent and I are off for the Christmas break and plan to catch up on things around the house. Brent has two house sales he is closing on soon. Heather will spend some time with us, and Kim is trying to snowboard at Park City during the break. Hope everyone has a happy and safe new year.
